We are located in a 3,200 sq. ft. warehouse. We produce multiple 1.5 barrel batches daily on our direct fired custom built 2 barrel brewing system. That supplies our tasting room as well as limited local distribution of several of our brands. Using direct fire allows us to create those great flavors through kettle caramelization which are a key signature of many styles.
We also have over 55 barrels of fermentation capacity spread over 34 fermentation vessels. This allows us to create a great variety of beers - we have 20 on tap. We also maintain an extensive yeast bank of over 25 strains which contributes to the uniqueness of our beers since easily 1/3 of a beer's flavor is created by the yeast!
Greg is following his European brewing heritage - his great grandfather Rudolph Rapp owned and operated the brewery in Mohrungen Germany around the turn of the century (1900). Some of his beers are artfully recreated at our brewery.
