Mission
Regional Aid for Interim Needs, Inc. (RAIN, Inc.) was founded in 1964 as a voluntary effort to provide in-home care for older persons leaving the hospital with no one to care for them at home.
Today, our mission remains the same. We have continued to work to provide an alternative to institutionalization of the elderly and RAIN, Inc. has grown since 1964 into an extensive not-for profit multi-service organization network that operates Senior Centers and a number of other support programs throughout the Bronx.
We at RAIN, Inc. provide the highest level of service and care, and we remain committed to improving the way in which our services are delivered. Our staff is made up of trained individuals who excel at delivering our unique brand of customer service
