Mission:

Quest Youth Organization is committed to enriching the lives’ of youth through the musical arts. We seek to develop healthy and self-sufficient individuals who attain educational achievements, enjoy economic empowerment, become proficient in the musical arts, and achieve success in life.

About Us:

The dramatic impact Quest has on the lives of its students is most evident for those who have been part of our family the longest. These students, over half remained in the program for close to 5 years, credit Quest for the care and nurturing they needed to develop a high sense of self-confidence and skill sets. As a result, Quest students remain an integral part of the Quest family and return to teach and mentor on a weekly basis, or during summers and holidays.

In 2004 Quest created a parent company called Quest Youth Organization, Inc., hence, the birth of Quest Youth Organization, Inc.: We anticipated offering services not only as a drum and bugle corps, but as an all service organization in the musical medium with various Musical Styles and Genres’. We envision providing classes in, concert band, jazz band, woodwind and brass ensemble, electric guitar/bass, classical string ensemble, piano quartets, African and Latin percussion, singing lessons and vocal training. 2007 is the birth of Quest Youth Organization, Inc. Thomas Fisher is the founder and executive director of this revision of the organization. Mr. Fisher forged a relationship with SCO Family Dynamics Beacon housed at MS 35 located at 272 McDonough Street to secure our home base for program operations. The Q City Soundz Concert Band consist of youth from ages 11-21 with intermediate and advanced level of study. In 2009 Quest Jr. Drum & Bugle Corps, Inc., has been officially dissolved, all of its assets have been liquidated and the business of the drum & bugle corps was terminated...A NEW BEGINNING.
