About Us

On Sunday, June 16, 1991, the new 7000 square foot Prospect Public Library, which had been in the planning stage for 4 years, opened its doors. State and federal funds, plus private and town donations enabled the new 1.2 million dollar building to open. Since then, the Library has rapidly expanded its services and collection.
