Praise Center for the Arts

Our History and Mission

We are a non-profit ministry dedicated to Praising God, Promoting the Gospel and Uplifting the Christian Community through the arts.  Praise Center was founded in 2003 in Los Angeles, California by its CEO & General Director Wayne Weaver.  Located in Franklin, Tennessee (a suburb in the Greater Nashville Area), Praise Center is providing a venue where those gifted in all areas of the arts have a place to utilize their artistic gifts in a unique way.  We have also been given the charge to commission new operatic works based on the stories of the Old and New Testament.

Praise Center along with its resident companies, presents numerous productions and events each year:  concerts with Christian artists, operas, theatre, symphony, dance, art exhibits, and film festivals!

Entrance to our productions is Donate What You Can. Our events are sponsored by the generous donations of our patrons. Our goal is to attract the finest artists.  We have many open positions and we're interested in filling them with believers that have a heart for the vision of this ministry.
