Prager Winery and Port Works

Prager Winery and Port Works is a family owned and operated winery located in the heart of the Napa Valley. Since the first harvest in 1979, they have been specializing in the production of various styles of Premium California Ports.  Prager has been specializing in the production of wines as well as various styles of California port, which include Vintage, Late-Bottle Vintage, Tawny and even a couple of White Ports. Table wines consist of Cabernet Sauvignon, a dessert Riesling and Chardonnay.

The grapes are mostly sourced from growers in the Valley, using ripe Petite Sirah and Cabernet along with the Portuguese varieties of Touriga Nacional, Tinto Cao, Tinta Roriz, and the white grape Verdelho. The fortified results are impressive and worth a taste. There is a hand-etched bottle collection on display, as well as a selection of cigars for sale.
