A strong community can only be achieved when we invest in our kids, our health and our neighbors. We strengthen community through programs, services and initiatives that enable kids and teens to realize their potential, offer ways for families to have fun together, empower people to be healthier in spirit, mind and body, and help foster a nationwide service ethic. The next time someone asks you what the Y is all about, simply say “the Y is for Youth Development, Healthy Living, and Social Responsibility!”

The Y is for everyone. Every day at our local Y, we strive to support the spiritual, mental and physical needs of individuals and families living in Portage Township, part of Union Township and eastern parts of Lake County.
