About Us:

Pony Harbor, a riding lesson and show program devoted to teaching children proper equitation.

Having ridden in the Equitation Medals in her child and adult years, Kate’s focus is on helping her students become not only effective riders, but also competitive equestrians.

In moving to her grandparents’ former home in 2009, Kate saw the family property on the Ledyard/Old Mystic town line as the ideal location for Pony Harbor, especially since it was the home of her grandfather’s Quarter Horses when she was a child. Kate has many fond memories of helping her grandmother care for the horses as a child, and she hopes to give other children the opportunity to make their own memories with the ponies of Pony Harbor.
