PlumpJack Winery was established PlumpJack Winery in 1995   by former San Francisco Mayor Gavin Newsom & partners. They are located on the eastern side of the Oakville Cross Road and nearby prestigious neighbors include Screaming Eagle, Groth & Rudd, all of which are premium wineries. This winery is only one part of the entire complex of PlumpJack holdings including restaurants, cafes, clothing, and resorts namely the The Carneros Inn in the Napa Valley and the Plumpjack Resort in Squaw Valley, Ca PlumpJack was founded on the premise that wine is one of life's great pleasure's and should be enjoyed as often as possible as part of a complete dining experience.

PlumpJack Winery sits squarely in the heart of Napa Valley's renowned Oakville region, surrounded by a 42-acre estate vineyard highly regarded for the quality of   its Cabernet Sauvignon.PlumpJack is the winery largely responsible for the proliferation of screw tops on fine wines, claiming that these tops prevent spoilage. Tasting fee, no reservation required.
