About Us:
Plains ISD serves approximately 470 PK- 12th grade students in a West Texas Town of 1,500 people approximately 70 miles Southwest of Lubbock. Our schools have a tradition of excellence in academics, athletics, and FFA. Plains ISD is an AVID (Advancement via Individual Determination) district and is dedicated to providing quality instruction through engaging instructional practices to prepare our students for college and career readiness.
