This Vendors' Handbook is intended to describe the organization and administration of the Farmers' Market. It details rules and regulations to be followed by the Board, vendors and management of the FM. The Market Planning Committee or Board shall deal with any issue not covered in this Handbook.
The mission of the FM is to establish and maintain a Farmers' Market for the purpose of marketing local farm and homemade products; to improve production; to stimulate public interest; to increase consumption of local products; to spark the Pine City economy.
The use of the Market is restricted to the sale of local products from a 50 mile radius of Pine City. Special exceptions may be allowed from time to time, upon the approval of the Board in response to local supply or productivity; such exemptions are not to interfere with locally-produced products.
