The Pinconning Branch serves the City of Pinconning as well as the northern townships of the county. The "Pinconning Public Library", was started by the Pinconning Women's Club in 1947 and became a branch of the Bay County Library System in 1974.

The current 11,700 square foot building opened in October of 2004, replacing the 3300 square foot building which had opened in 1976. The branch offers a varied collection of general interest books, CDs, magazines, and videos for all ages. Access to the internet as well as to several online databases is available
