Mission:

The Phelps Community Memorial Library strives to provide the residents of the Village and Town of Phelps with the highest quality materials and programming for all ages. We endeavor to be a welcoming, family-oriented source of general information and provide services and opportunities that enhance lifelong learning throughout the entire community.

Goals:

Residents of Phelps will use the library as a community information resource, connecting them with community services through current publications, bulletin board postings and the library.

Residents of Phelps will use the library to easily access information and locate answers on a broad array of topics through qualified staff, an updated collection, and internet accessibility.

Residents of Phelps will have materials and services available to meet their desires for information on current high interest topics and to provide satisfying recreational experiences.

The library will offer special programs and resources to the young people of Phelps, designed to encourage lifelong learning, the pleasures of reading, and tools to become good citizens.
