Pegasus Theater Company

Vision Statement:

Pegasus Theater Company was established in 1998 with the intention of presenting quality productions for the enjoyment of the Russian River community and surrounding areas. We aspire to increase appreciation for theater by offering plays that are thought provoking as well as entertaining. By presenting theater of many types and styles, we hope to develop a broad-based audience.

Our goals:

- To create a high standard of professionalism in our community theater by attracting and developing talented actors, directors, designers, technicians, and other backstage and support volunteers.
- To encourage personal artistic growth by providing opportunities for individuals to explore their interests in theater through classes, on-the-job training, and mentoring.
- To establish a standard of excellence in performance and production values as well as in personal conduct and integrity.
- To achieve a balance between artistic expression and personal discipline so that we are responsible artists as well as creative artists.
- To support each other and the community we serve. We insist on an environment of tolerance and respect for our differences. Consensus and harmony are valued as crucial to our success.
