Mission:

Paynesville Area Historical Society's mission is to preserve and promote the history of the Paynesville area. The Paynesville Area Historical Society and its museum carry out this mission by the following:

Providing opportunities for the people of all ages to experience the stories and history associated with the Paynesville Area

Collecting and caring for materials in the word or in artifact form that document the Paynesville area

Provide awareness, accessibility and encouraging research and interpretation of the Paynesville Area and its history.
