The story of Paschal began long ago, when Roy and Jill Paschal bought the piece of property that is Jill's "favorite place in the world." A friend lived on this land where the winery now stands. Grapes were planted on this site by their friends, and sold to a local winemakers. Roy and Jill couldn't resist the delicious wine, buying it back from the winemaker by the bottle.

Soon they decided to take matters into their own hands. As the ultimate entrepreneur, Roy dreams big yet works diligently starting at sunrise to get the care-taking jobs done on site. His wife, Jill, has a passion for arts of any kind, and no aesthetic excellence escapes her careful eye. After years of nurturing the vineyards, their wine-making vision came to fruition when they bottled their first vintage in 1998. Shortly after, they visited their daughter-in-law's home country of Poland and met Agnieszka, Sylvia's sister, and were taken by her unique style and way with people. They watched as she ran a successful boutique filled with her fantastic fashion creations. The family knew that her sense of aesthetics and her warm personality were just what they needed to enhance their winery with grace, beauty and hospitality.

In the decade that has passed, the Paschal Family has dedicated their unique talents to contribute to the experience that is Paschal Winery - each individual lending their forte' to the effort. Come and experience their effort. You can read more about who you will find at our winery under "Our People".
