Parkside Athletics

About Us:

Parkside Athletics is owned and operated by the Pekin Park District. Parkside opened in 1975 and originally named The Court House due to having four indoor tennis courts, locker rooms a lounge for tennis and two other small areas for fitness programming. Parkside has had three expansions to get to where it is today. The first expansion was to add racquetball courts and expand its area for fitness equipment and programming. The second expansion added a professional entrance with a new front desk and lobby area, an expanded Kidz Klub and an addition to the free weight area. The third and most recent expansion added another addition to the free weight area, created a personal training studio, expanded the Kidz Klub again, created a new larger cardio equipment area as well as a second cardio equipment area and three group fitness studios, including one for group cycle classes. The Pekin Park District is serious about the health and fitness of our community by allowing member and non members alike to access the facility and its programs through various ways.
