The Ozark Gateway Audubon Chapter was formed in Joplin in 1975 and met in various public locations until the Wildcat Glades Conservation & Audubon Center was completed in 2007. Chapter President, Calvin Cassady shared that the “Charter Members came from a large regional area but all had the same ideas and passion to improve the earth we live in.”
