Oxbow Creek Golf Course

oxbow is defined as a U-shaped bend in a river. The golf course is situated near the Chattahoochee River where there are many oxbows. In fact, Oxbow Meadows, an environmental park, is located next to the golf course. But closer to the golf course is a creek that has much smaller oxbows. So, the name Oxbow Creek can be attributed to mother nature.
