Old Washington Street Festival

Mission Statement

The OWSF is the oldest festival in Muncie that is organized by the East Central Neighborhood Association a non-for-profit group. We are very passionate about preserving a piece of our rich history and giving back to the community in a variety of ways. We would love for you to be a part of making that difference.

Proceeds from the festival are used to promote community awareness through educational workshops, Earth Day community planting and clean up, tree preservation. We have helped local business in the area; St. Lawrence Church, Main St. UMC, Christian Ministries, Muncie Clean & Beautiful. For the children and family; we host an annual Easter egg hunt, community picnic in July, caroling and the lighting of Marie’s Christmas tree. These activities are just a few events we plan for each year and we make them free of charge. Without your help we would not be able to provide all these events and services each year. Thank you…
