About Us:

The Old Post Road Orchestra is enjoying its 25th season as a volunteer community orchestra based in Wilbraham, Massachusetts. Our mission is to provide quality symphonic music at convenient locations in and around Wilbraham, MA, and to offer an opportunity for people of all ages to play their instruments in a friendly, community based orchestra.

We have about 50 members ranging in age from teenagers to octagenarians. We rehearse at the Stony Hill School in Wilbraham, MA from 7:30 to 9:30 Wednesday evenings from Labor Day through July 4th. We welcome participation by talented high school students, students from local colleges and adults seeking an outlet for their musical talents in an encouraging and congenial setting.

We play a variety of orchestral music, from Pops to classical. We prepare five programs each year, including an Autumn program, a Holiday concert, a Children's concert, a spring classical concert and a summer Pops concert. Each program may be performed multiple times in various communities in order to provide convenient access to orchestra music for our audiences.
