History

O’Keefe’s Tavern, has been hosting their annual St. Paddy’s Day Festival, since 1980. “In the beginning, it was a small event, held mostly inside,” recalls Garth DuQuesnay, today’s owner/operator. “Then we went outside, added a tent, added days, and added live music.” The main tent is 11,000 SF with smaller tents expanding the party now to the entire block. This year’s event will be two days, Saturday 3/16 and Sunday 3/17. O’Keefe’s will be set to sell over 2,000 lbs of corned beef and over 200 kegs of beer, which most of them will be GREEN! They include entertainment for the crowd with live Bands, Bagpipers, Irish Dancers, Face Painter and more. O’Keefe’s has added family friendly activities to this year’s event also. Some activities will include costume contests, rock painting and kids activities. This is event you do not want to miss!
