The Ocala National Forest is the second largest National Forest in the U.S. state of Florida and covers approximately 673 square miles of Central Florida. Its edges reach three miles east of Ocala, 16 miles southeast of Gainesville, 50 miles north of Orlando and 20 miles west of Daytona Beach.
The Ocala National Forest offers a variety of riding opportunities for Off Highway Vehicle (OHV) enthusiasts. Trails are designed for slow speeds for riders to view and appreciate scenery and wildlife as well as to highlight the importance of conservation, forest management, and history.
