The Town of Guilderland built the Nott Road fields in the early 1980's to provide softball and soccer fields for Town residents. Local softball and soccer leagues and Pop Warner football teams use the fields at Nott Road Park, and local tournaments are held throughout the year, including Ultimate Frisbee and Flag Football tournaments.

In 2006, a Town Dog Park was added to Nott Road Park. Residents wishing to use the Dog Park can pick up a permit at the Town Clerk's Office in Town Hall.
