From its humble beginnings on Moreland Avenue, NorthStar's presence in East Atlanta and surrounding communities has steadfastly grown. Along the way, we have been blessed to have the opportunity to help several institutions in the area, like East Atlanta Kids Club,  Maynard Jackson High School, as well as Drew Charter School. Family traditions have also started in the community through the means of finding the perfect tree.

Numerous amounts of planning, brainstorming, number-crunching and research were necessary to bring our first tree lot into operation. Nevertheless, perseverance prevailed and the challenge was met to get the tree lot up and running. So, along with Luis Ruiz and the moral support of friends and family, the original lot opened for business on Friday, November 27,2009.
