North River Adventures

In 2012, North River Adventures opened with the idea to bring family oriented fun through a large corn maze and pumpkin patch to the Des Moines area. This idea came about through the minds of Max Steigleder and his friend Joey Meyer. In 2012 they set out to design a maze focused on honoring the 132nd Iowa Air National Guard. Then 2013, they continued this idea, and decided to honor the average Iowa farmer. Also 2013, they added a large inflatable pillow to bring more family oriented fun while enjoying a beautiful day at North River Adventures.  This year, 2014, we are adding a party barn.  The party barn will be there for whatever kind of event you would like to host; weddings, receptions, birthdays, and even corporate events. North River Adventures believes in continuing down this path by adding more attractions to bring more enjoyment with each and every visit to North River Adventures.
