The lake entices swimmers, paddlers and anglers, and a mile-long path around the lake offers peaceful activities for walkers, photographers and birders.Gather the work group or family, because kitchen shelters and picnic tables make Nolte a sweet spot for low-pressure company gatherings, Sunday picnics and family reunions.Nolte might be your perfect afternoon R and R break.PARK FEATURESNolte State Park is a 111-acre day-use park with 7,174 feet of freshwater shoreline on Deep Lake near the Green River Gorge.PICNIC & DAY-USE FACILITIESThe park provides two kitchen shelters without electricity, plus one sheltered and 50 unsheltered picnic tables. Kitchen shelters are reservable for groups of up to 50 persons. Fees vary, based on size of the group.
