About:

Nodland Cellars values the tradition of the visual arts. The winery exhibits artists from all over the country. The label art was created by master artist Tim Rogerson of Orlando, Florida who is a top Disney artist as well as doing work for Marvel Comics while maintaining a solo fine art career. The original painting of “Jazz Band” the label art for the reserve wines of Nodland Cellars can be seen on exhibit in the tasting room. The “Jazz Band” art is used on the reserve wine labels. The artwork entertains the idea that fine wine is like jazz music, subtle, complex, full of textures, with an enticing melody that weaves in and out of the framework and onto the pallet.

The “Bad Attitude” label also created by Tim Rogerson encompasses the entire history of rock and roll, from the young Jerry Lee Lewis style pianist on an old fashioned upright piano from the 1950’s, to the Keith Moon style 1960’s drummer, to the 1970’s pouty “chick” lead singer, the 1980’s big haired bass player and the “in the now” guitarist up front. The work portrays the energy and movement of rock and roll music.
