About Us

The News & Microforms Library provides access to today's news broadcasts, as well as today's newspapers and news magazines from around the world. Access to hundreds of additional international and domestic news sources are provided on microfilm (with particular strength in Pennsylvania newspapers) and online, including digital archives of America's Historical Newspapers, The New York Times, and The Daily Collegian.

The News & Microforms Library also supports researchers seeking primary sources in our extensive microfilm, microfiche, or related digital collections. Our collection strengths include: African-American Studies research collections, English, American, and French literature collections; as well as extensive American history, anthropology, photography, women's studies, and education collections. The librarians and staff in the News & Microforms Library are committed to serving the needs of a broad range of research and researchers.
