Newfound Lake Region Association

History:

The Newfound Lake Region Association was founded in 1971 by dedicated men and women concerned for the long-term health and beauty of Newfound Lake. Volunteer-led programs included monitoring the quality of the lake and its tributaries, partnering with local schools to provide outdoor educational experiences for hundreds of children, and working with towns, camps and businesses to raise awareness of potential threats to the natural environment and their feasible solutions.
