Newfane Free Library

On a cold January night in 1911 a meeting of the committees from the different organizations of the town of Newfane was held at the Methodist Evangelical Church to ponder the question "Does the Town of Newfane need a public library and reading room?" The answer was a unanimous "YES!" and since those early days the Town of Newfane has encouraged and supported its library, which in turn has striven to meet the needs of its townspeople.
