Located in New Tampa Community Park, the Recreation Center has a 12,500 square-foot gymnastics area, which includes a gymnastic pit, tumbling strip, and full apparatus gymnastic equipment for all competitive Olympic events. The facility also has a large multipurpose room that can be divided into two separate rooms, a snack bar and gymnastic viewing area as well as a covered deck.

The facility also includes a concrete bi-level street (5' and 7' bowls)Skate Park with pyramids, stairs, wedges and grind rails and a series of quarter-pipe turns that allow skaters to "flow" from one element to the next.

The Recreation Center and Skate Park are part of the 40-acre New Tampa Community Park. The park has 4 four softball fields, five soccer fields, a concession stand and restrooms and is located adjacent to Freedom High School and Liberty Middle School.
