About

New River Country is located in the beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains of North Carolina, just five minutes outside the town of Sparta. It is a semi-private club offering 18 holes of golf with scenic views of the surrounding mountains. The average temperature for the summer range from the upper 70's to the lower 80's. It is a short distance away from surrounding counties: Ashe, Surry, Yadkin and Wilkes. Winston Salem and the Triad area is just a little over a hour away. The club is within a hour's drive from Grayson, Carrol, Smyth and Wythe counties in Southwest Virginia.
