Our mission is to inspire and connect community members of all ages by providing access to the best of the world's music through education and performance.

The New Hampshire Music Festival is a one-of-a-kind not-for-profit organization that provides a spectrum of music education opportunities and world-class performances to citizens throughout central New Hampshire and beyond.

Since our beginnings in 1952 on Melody Island in Lake Winnipesaukee, the Festival has produced thousands of classical concerts for residents and visitors alike.  The Festival attracts some of the finest musicians from around the country, representing many of the nation's premiere symphony orchestras and teaching institutions. A special bond between members of the orchestra has been built over many summers of playing music and enjoying the peace and beauty of the Lakes Region of New Hampshire together.

This is our 61st year of bringing classical music to New Hampshire! For nearly 20 years, the Festival has been in residence at Plymouth State University, and is now a fixture at the Hanaway Theatre in the Silver Center for the Arts.
