New City Brewery

New City Brewery was founded in 2013 by three lifelong friends and an award-winning brewmaster. Once the decision to start the brewery was made, it was an easy choice for the founders to locate the brewery in the scenic town of Easthampton. Home of the nation's best tasting water, along with ample space in the town's historic mill buildings, Easthampton was a perfect fit for New City Brewery.

The specialty of New City Brewery is unique from that of other craft breweries. New City's flagship product is an alcoholic, Jamaican-style ginger beer. One of the main passions of brewmaster Sam Dibble is towards reviving alcoholic ginger beer in America's rapidly growing craft beer industry. 

After about a year and a half of research and development, Sam had created a ginger beer bursting with the aroma of fresh ginger, exhibiting an effervescent bite with a clean, crisp finish. The beer brings out subtle notes of tropical pineapple and citrus to compliment the distinctive zip of ginger, with a slight hint of molasses. Spending countless hours washing, grinding, and steeping ginger, it was easy for Sam to come up with the flagship product's tagline, "Our Roots Run Deep." It was with the completion of the New City's Original Ginger Beer that the brewery was ready for action.
