Thousands of years ago the receding glaciers created the rolling and meandering hills that is now Neillsville Country Club. Designed by Art Tangen of Eau Claire and founded in 1935, the course is the oldest in the area. The fairways are lined by decades old pines and hardwoods of maple, oak, and ash. In the fall, players can be seen picking fruit between some holes and it is not an uncommon sight to see players munching on pears, cherries, and apples while reading putts.

Because of the rolling terrain, many greens cannot be seen from the teeing area, and the greens, like the landscape, rarely will give one a straight putt.  Although the course is 9 holes in length, the positioning of the white and blue tee markers give the impression of an 18 hole layout. Don't forget to keep a look out for our resident bluebirds; there about twenty houses scattered around the course.  Undoubtedly, you will have the creatures following you as you kick up the insects.

The clubhouse is available throughout the year to host anniversary parties, birthdays, wedding receptions, retirement dinners, graduation parties and holiday festivities. The staff is at your disposal for consultation and advice on hosting any occasion you might desire.  Parties can be located on one of two floors or both, depending on your needs. Do not hesitate to call the club to make arrangements.

The Neillsville Country Club is a privately held, publicly accessible golf course located in Neillsville, Wisconsin. Neillsville is the county seat of Clark county in west-central Wisconsin counting 2650 souls.  We are very proud of the Neillsville Country Club and welcome you to join use for a round or two.
