The founder of Naydenov Gymnastics Center is Jordan Naydenov, born in Plovdiv, Bulgaria.  The original Vancouver gym was opened in 1983.  In 1992 the business was moved to its current location on 94th Avenue.

Jordan competed nationally in Bulgaria before coming to the United States in 1982 to work with Ringling Brothers as a circus gymnast.  He designed and built the gym to facilitate students of all ages, training them for competition, while gaining self-esteem, self-discipline, strength and balance.

naydenov gymnastics ownersNaydenov Gymnastics is currently owned by Kevin & Ivanka Jenkins. Ivanka grew up in Plovdiv Bulgaria and has been assisting with preschool classes and play care at Naydenov Gymnastics from 2005 to current. Kevin started out in gymnastics as the Gymnastics/Sports camp director for the Eugene Family YMCA in 1988. In 1992 Kevin bought American Gymnastics Training Center in Eugene, Oregon. Since 1992 Kevin has been coaching gymnastics and/or managing gymnastics schools in Oregon, North Dakota, Texas, Maine, California, and Washington. Kevin achieved his bachelor’s degree in computer science at the University of Oregon in 1999. In 2005 his long time friend Jordan Naydenov sold the business to Kevin and his wife Ivanka. Naydenov Gymnastics employees approximately 60 employee’s year round and is considered one of the biggest and best equipped gymnastics facilities in the country. Ivanka and Kevin have three children Silvia, Joro, and Anthony.

Naydenov Gymnastics is a family run business that strives on providing lots of fun for children in a safe learning environment. Naydenov Gymnastics has a long history in the Vancouver area as a leader in training the highest level athletes and is well known throughout the community as the fun place in town with great prices.
