The National Sprint Car Hall of Fame & Museum Foundation is a 501(c)(3) organization incorporated in the state of Iowa on April 25, 1986, for the sole purpose of preserving the history of the sport of sprint car racing and honoring its greatest achievers. The museum is located at One Sprint Capital Place at the Marion County Fairgrounds on Highway 14 in Knoxville, Iowa. The four-story building is open seven days a week year-round: 10 a.m. until 6 p.m. Monday through Friday, 12 Noon until 5 p.m. Saturday and Sunday. Admission is just four dollars for adults, three dollars for students and senior citizens, and museum members and children age five-and-under are free.
