National Band Association Hall of Fame of Distinguished Band Conductors

The National Band Association established the Hall of Fame of Distinguished Band Conductors on the campus of Troy University, Troy, Alabama in 1979. It is housed in a magnificent facility made available by Troy University through the efforts of Dr. John Long, Emeritus Dean of the School of Arts & Sciences / Director of Bands, together with Dr. Ralph Adams, President of the University.

The Hall of Fame building is open to visitors without charge daily from 9:00 to 4:00 p.m. It is also open prior to and immediately following concert events on the Troy campus. Nomination to the Hall of Fame is open to all persons who have reached the age of 65 and who have particularly distinguished themselves as conductors in the band field.
