The Nashoba Youth Orchestra, established in 2004, serves the youth of Nashoba and Merrimack Valleys as well as southern New Hampshire by providing a high quality string orchestra program. Based in Westford Massachusetts, NYO provides outstanding training to young string musicians of all abilities by providing weekly orchestra rehearsals, chamber music instruction and master classes. All string musicians – violin, viola, cello, bass – through pre-college age are invited to join this fine string orchestra organization. The 2013-14 season marked NYO’s tenth anniversary. From 2004 through 2014, Nashoba Youth Orchestra operated under the non-profit umbrella of the Parish Center for the Arts, Inc. It will now operate under the umbrella of Indian Hill Music, based in Littleton, MA.
