In 1977 we opened our doors and you came to share, learn and experience Florida's extraordinary past. Over the years we enjoyed many significant moments as the Museum grew and evolved. Spectacular exhibits and cultural events are only a portion of what makes the Museum successful. The people of Florida, the visitors to our great state, and the school children that bound through our doors inspire us to greatness. We continue, armed with knowledge, creativity and passion, into a new era.
