Mission:

The mission of the Friends of the Mukilteo Library is to encourage and enhance the partnership between the library and the community.

Who We Are:

The Friends of the Mukilteo Library was founded in 1963 to support library services in our community. After the loss of our library in December of 1994 the members of the Friends joined with the Mukilteo Library Board and other concerned citizens in a two year effort to restore library services to Mukilteo. Realizing a library would both benefit and enhance our city, in 1996 the voters of Mukilteo agreed to tax themselves to build a new library and annex to the Sno-Isle Libraries System. Construction of the new library began in September of 1997. On July 27, 1998 the Friends and the community celebrated the opening of our beautiful new Mukilteo Library!
