About Mud Creek ELC

Mud Creek Environmental Learning Center (ELC) is located on the property of Columbia County Soil & Water Conservation District office. ELC consists of the nature trails behind the District building and an indoor classroom with the Hudson River Estuary exhibit room on the lower level of the District building. The lower level is handicap-accessible and is open Monday-Friday 8:00 a.m.- 4:30 p.m.  

Mud Creek ELC offers a variety of hands-on, inquiry based, environmental education programs.  Our programs can be adapted to any grade level and integrated into various parts of your school's curriculum.  We are also available to develop programs to meet the needs of scout groups and other community organizations for both children and adults.
