About Us:

The Mt. Washington Branch opened on May 31, 1900. In 1989, the building was designated an historic landmark. The immediate neighborhood includes a wide variety of people and settings including families who have been in Mt. Washington for four generations, residents of luxury condos built along the hillside facing downtown, and Chatham Village (one of the earliest examples of planned urban development).
