Mountain View Farm

Mountain View Farm is located in the scenic Shenandoah Valley and, as the name suggests, affords exceptional panoramic views of the mountains.  The Christmas tree farm began in 2001 as we started replacing cattle pasture and crop fields with Christmas trees.  We presently have 18 different species of trees growing and continue to experiment with new species.  Steve and Sharon have been active members of the Virginia Christmas Tree Growers Association since 1998.  We get a lot of satisfaction from producing an enjoyable, recyclable, biodegradable product.

Our Environmental Practices:

No nitrogen or phosphate used.
Severely restricted pesticide usage.
Colorant rarely put on trees.
All trees are from nursery-grown seedlings.
No tilling of tree fields.
Providing a biodegradable Christmas tree.
