About Us:

Mountain Glen Golf Club is operated by the Avery Development Corporation. It is located just outside of Newland, NC on Hwy 194 toward Elk Park, NC. This facility opened in 1963. The club consists of the 18-hole golf course, club house with large banquet facilities for special events or occasions, well stocked proshop, grill, practice driving range and practice area for chipping and putting.

The golf course features 6,723 yards of golf from the longest tees for a par 72. The course was designed by George W. Cobb, ASGCA.
