Prince George's County's only urban nature center, the Mount Rainier Nature and Recreation Center features hands-on exhibits, live animals, educational displays, a game room, an outdoor amphitheater, campfire pit, and a playground. A variety of natural history interpretive programs for community and school groups are available. The center has a fully-equipped recreation room available to rent for meetings and special occasions.Â
