Mound City Public Library

Mission Statement

Mound City Public Library is a service organization providing books, periodicals, DVDs, music CDs, and high speed internet access to the residents of Mound City and the surrounding communities.

Vision Statement

Our vision is to meet the needs of our patrons by expanding our library space and its holdings, by automating this collection, by offering programming for children and adults and by keeping the public informed about activities, acquisitions, and events. It is the library board's intent to continue grant seeking and fund raising efforts to continue the betterment of the library for the residents of Mound City and the surrounding populations.
