Morrow Branch Library

11 West Rusk Street
Mount Enterprise, TX 75681

The citizens of Mt. Enterprise were provided access to books and materials by a bookmobile that visited the community. In the 1960's the citizens of Mt. Enterprise built a Community Center and incorporated a Library in part of the building. After a time, Rusk County assumed responsibility for the building. The Library became known as Mt. Enterprise Library. Soon the small area of the Community Center became crowded and too small for the book collection and the growing needs of the Library patrons.

In 1987 Mr. Floyd Morrow, a well-known resident of Mt. Enterprise and President of the local Bank, donated an old bank building, which is located in the downtown area. The building then became known as the Morrow Branch Library. Morrow Branch Library continues to add to their collection and strives daily to meet the demands of their patrons as well as their citizens.
