Morrisson-Reeves Library

Mission:

The library’s mission statement is a description of the library’s vision of the roles it will take within the community. Drafting the MRL Mission Statement came after township residents were surveyed concerning their attitudes and beliefs about the Library, their personal library experiences and suggestions for improving library service. Along with the survey results the members of the Long Range Planning Committee discussed with staff members their ideas and aspirations for future direction of the Library.

The committee then drafted the Mission Statement as a first step in focusing upon specific community expectations and needs teamed with generalities about the direction of public library service in general.
